I’m Suzanne Adams, editor-in-chief of this site (still in beta), dedicated to any and everything cat related.  Cats are my passion, a passion that stems from an undaunting adoration of the two felines, AJ (left) and Marlin (right), who maintain me as one of their favorite two humans and shared pet.

My goal is for the Cat Lady Daily to be a resource that is: Fun, Entertaining, Lithe, Informative, Novel, Everything about cats.

Here, you’ll be provided with news, reviews, and adventures from the perspective of a feline fanatic.  I’ll also share insights that AJ and Marlin share with me.  My hope is that you’ll enjoy the content so much you’ll want to visit over and over again.  If you’re looking for specific information, want me to feature your favorite feline(s), or would like me to consider feature a story, please email your request to:   catladydaily@gmail.com.

While I may not resemble the image of any “Cat Lady” who may come to mind, if you’re around me, even for a brief moment, it’s inevitable:  you can’t help but think of me as a Cat Lady!  I wasn’t always an animal lover.  Seven years ago, at the age of 32, I developed this fierce passion.  The experience of bringing AJ home and, that day, realizing the depth of soul behind his grey eyes that would briefly turn blue, then green and finally a stunning gold, forever changed me.

Outside of cats, what am I all about?  PASSIONATE, AUTHENTIC, STRONG, SOLITARY!  I enjoy my personal space and revel in quiet time alone (with AJ and Marlin, of course).  I love to read and would, one day, like to author a novel and a series of children’s books.  I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures, but am a beach girl at heart.  In the end, though, there’s no place like home.  And, home is wherever my kitty boys (and their Papa Bear) are!

The motifs of my life revolve around FELINES, FITNESS, FASHION, FAMILY, FOLLY, FOOD, FISHING/YACHTING/THE BEACH, and BOOKS.  These motifs will undoubtedly be woven into this site’s content.

Exercising is my favorite hobby.  I love interval training, yoga and meditation, and ab workouts.  Yoga is relatively new to the mix and I am excited about the journey this practice will take me on!  In April 2012, I completed my second half marathon and have since retired my race shoes. Toe nails are not just for sissies; and, I’m rather attached to mine. On the flip side, I LOVE to EAT so it’s a balancing act.

I believe that individuals are defined by the values they hold non-negotiable.  For me, those include INTEGRITY, AUTHENTICITY, DIVERSITY, and PASSION.

I’m very intuitive and hold great disdain for indecision, disingenuity, passiveness, and lack of integrity.

Professionally, I hold 16 years of experience in fast-paced Insurance, Retail, Luxury, Telecommunications, and Call Center environments.  I’ve worked in the extended service contract industry since September 2001 and have spent the last 6+ of those years with Assurant Solutions where I currently hold the role of Senior Manager, National Accounts.

The foundation of my career is client management and marketing.  Relationship building, ability to impact cultural change, a vision for seeing “the big picture,” and public speaking are my core strengths.  These strengths allow me to work on special projects, learning many facets of Assurant Solutions’ businesses.  It doesn’t get any more mundane than Insurance; thank goodness for special projects and……CATS!

I obtained a Professional MBA from Georgia State University and a BBA in Marketing from Kennesaw State University.  I am currently exploring Yoga Certification & an MA in Applied Lingusitics.
